Die Fotografie entstammt der Fotodokumentation des ersten Jüdischen Museums, die Chanukkia lässt sich im Inventarkatalog des ersten Jüdischen Musuems finden. Es wurde am 20. April 1903 in Rom bei Lupier gekauft, der Eintrag lautet: ‘Menorah / Unterer Teil: Gitterförmig gestanzt, mit 8 Lampen / aus Bronze-Guss / Oberster Teil: Vase mit ovalen Medaillen da- / rüber Schames.’
